Two University of Missouri Tigers earned team of the week selections for their performances in last week's Big 12 Tournament, where Missouri went 2-0-1 to claim their first conference championship. Junior goalkeeper Tasha Dittamore was named by Soccer America and senior defender Kat Tarr was chosen to Top Drawer Soccer's best eleven.

Fresh off winning its first Big 12 Championship, the No. 10 University of Missouri women's soccer team (15-5-1, 7-3-0) will play Evansville in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the Tigers learned on Monday. The Tigers, the four-seed in their region, were also selected as one of 16 host sites for the first and second rounds.

The No. 15 University of Missouri soccer team beat No. 10 Colorado 1-0 to win the 2008 Big 12 Tournament title on Sunday, Nov. 9 at Blossom Soccer Complex in San Antonio, Texas. With the victory, the Tigers earn an automatic bid to the 2008 NCAA Tournament.

The University of Missouri women's soccer team returns to the Big 12 Tournament Championship for the fourth time in program history on Sunday as the No. 15 Tigers take on No. 10 Colorado at Noon at Blossom Soccer Complex. In anticipation of the match, the team has produced a one-minute promotional video showing the Tigers' top plays from the tournament and highlighting the important information for following Sunday's match, available here or here.

The No. 15 University of Missouri women's soccer team (14-5-1, 7-3-0) advanced to the Big 12 Championship title game with a dramatic penalty kick shootout against Kansas (12-7-2, 4-5-1) on Friday at Blossom Soccer Complex. Junior Meghan Pfeiffer scored the lone goal in the 1-1 semifinal tie and sophomore Alysha Bonnick netted the fifth and final penalty kick to put the Tigers through to their fourth Big 12 Tournament championship game in program history
