The Tigers dropped a five-setter to No. 13 Kansas State, while Baylor survived a wild five-setter at winless Texas Tech on Wednesday night.
The Missouri volleyball team (13-14, 7-10 Big 12) nearly upset No. 13 Kansas State on Wednesday evening as K-State squeaked out a 21-25, 25-19, 12-25, 25-20, 15-12 victory. Mizzou had leads of 19-16 in the fourth set and 10-7 in the fifth, but fell in both. Sophomore Julianna Klein (Keota, Iowa) notched 20 kills on the night, adding 16 digs, four blocks and an ace.

Mizzou, winning just its second conference road contest, moves into a tie for fifth place in the Big 12 standings, its best position in the league this season. Junior Megan Wilson (Lincoln, Neb.) led Mizzou for the second-straight match, grabbing 15 kills on .344 hitting (15-4-32).
